Brixton to Bangor.
After an unbelievable gig, Maxi headed straight up to the vip area to spin some tunes for all the guests…… among many close friends and family waiting with open arms, was the gorgeous, and incredibly talented, Elly Jackson, of La Roux fame… (who we had sadly missed playing at Brixton two weeks earlier, due to our Bruxelles gig)
…having known Elly from before her La Roux days, it is a lovely coincidence that she met and started working with Ben Langmaid, who is solely responsible for introducing Blissy, Rollo & Maxi to each other……what a small yet wonderful world!!
…then at 2 a.m we thanked Josh, who runs the Academy, wished him well and boarded the buses for an overnighter to Wales…

After 3hrs sleep, it was a pleasant surprise to wake up in the gorgeous surroundings of Llandudno, North Wales, where we had a few hours to freshen up at ‘The Royal Hotel’… which was a stunning place, run by a lovely family…
…turned out that one of the buses had only just made it to Wales, due to a broken hose that had leaked oil all the way…!
The bus drivers, 'Rat' & 'Carl', enjoy some shade while awaiting a bus mechanic...
…while the band await their rooms…
…Harry & Dave decided a swim in the sea would be the best thing to cure a hangover/ clear the head…and on such a glorious day, it seemed like the best idea…!
…however…diving straight off the jetty, Harry soon realised, wasn’t the best idea…
