Faithless

What a perfect day to have been in Amsterdam… It was incredibly hot and everywhere was decorated orange, in preparation for their World Cup quarter final game against Brazil.  A quick stop at the Bulldog saw Maxi kitted out with an orange shirt to fit the occasion… Then it was off to a bar to watch the Big Match…!

It was SO hot, that many bars had thought of genius contraptions to offer a cooling down opportunity for their customers……and passers-by!

The whole city erupted into a sea of noise… with air horns, car horns, bike bells and vuvuzelas creating an incredible mass of constant sound….

…Which kept going all the way to the Westerpark….

With Westerpark being a closed off festival in a big park, and the city being in fervour about the 2-1 win over Brazil, there were loads of people having picnics and barbeques outside the fence…

…and on the way up to stage there were huge cheers from the slope looking over the back wall…

Maxi gave them a 2-1 scoreline salute before taking to the stage….

When Maxi came back on for the encore, He had donned an official Holland football shirt….

Which led to an incredible few minutes of roaring from the unbelievable crowd……who then joined in a chorus of Happy Birthday for Harry!

Then it was time to head home…
